— Water, Sanitation & Dams projects

Water delivered.
Across Syria.

A selection of water, sanitation, and dam projects delivered by AL AMAL — from rainwater-collection dams to large-scale transmission lines and a treatment plant serving 31,500 residents. Each project executed end-to-end from excavation through structural commissioning.

Project 01 — Small dam

Ba’amrin Dam.

The project covers excavation and mass concrete pours in valley channels, building small dams designed to collect rainwater — for use in irrigation and agriculture through the summer season.

Project 02 — Main transmission line

Water Line
Ain Al-Bayda to Latakia.

A 14.7 km water transmission line built using 1000 mm ductile iron pipes, equipped with valves, fittings, and full concrete works.

The project also included trench backfilling, along with supporting roads and bridges — ensuring reliable water delivery to Al-Muntazah reservoir in Latakia.

Project 03 — Water reservoir

City
Water Tank.

A 200 m³ reservoir built on a circular base below sea level, with submerged reinforced concrete works.

The project also included full internal and external insulation, sanitary installations, and an integrated electrical panel for reliable operation.

Project 04 — Small dam

Bkhasoun Dam.

The project covers excavation and mass concrete pours in valley channels, building small dams designed to collect rainwater — to support irrigation and agriculture through the summer season.

Project 05 — Ground reservoir

Qarfees Ground
Water Tank.

A 6,000 m³ reinforced concrete ground reservoir, built to support Latakia’s second transmission line. The project also included a protective retaining wall to ensure structural stability and long-term reliability.

Project 06 — Treatment plant

Burjan Sewage
Treatment Plant.

A treatment plant serving 31,500 residents, including excavation, concrete works, sedimentation basins, rotating tanks, and filtration units.

The project also included full mechanical and electrical installations to ensure integrated plant operation.
